A look at the Boston Marathon - why more Men quit than Women


It isn't exactly college or youth sports, but a look at the Boston Marathon from 2018 and data from supporting races show that Women performance much better in diverse weather conditions versus Men. Extreme heat or Freezing Cold - their drop off rates are lower than men.

The NY Times shares reasons why this may be true, from psychology to decision-making traits, goal adjustment ability, bottom line is those who can deal with adversity tend to thrive in the not so ideal conditions.
